Premier League contenders, Chelsea FC are reportedly reluctant to appoint an interim coach due to the Blue’s poor performance, giving Frank Lampard until the end of the season with hopes that he will turn things around.

The former Chelsea player is increasingly under pressure at Stamford Bridge after five defeats in Chelsea’s last eight consecutive Premier League matches.

to The Independent, reports that Chelsea does not want to deal with the short-term issues that come with the appointment of an interim boss.

It is claimed that Chelsea will instead wait until the summer before deciding whether to replace Frank Lampard, with RB Leipzig’s Julian Nagelsmann considered to be their preferred long-term choice.
