The Kenyan government has confirmed 11 more cases bringing the total number of Coronavirus cases in Kenya to 281.
Making the announcement Monday, Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe said seven of the new cases are from Mombasa; 3 from Bondeni are, 1 from Miritini and three other cases from other parts of Mombasa town, while four were reported in Kiambu County, specifically in Ruaka area.
Kagwe also noted that, three of the seven people who tested positive in Mombasa may have come into contact with the herbalist who died of Coronavirus disease recently.

Kagwe also asserted that Five of the new cases are from persons who are currently in government isolation centers while the rest os the cases were picked by the government’s surveillance team. All the newly eleven infected persons do not have any travel history.
The total number of Coronavirus patients who have recovered stands at 69 while the number of fatalities from the COVID-19 disease remains 14 people.
