Dennis Itumbi And 4 Others Fired From State House

Dennis Itumbi, an ardent supporter of Tangatanga movement alongside 4 others have been kicked out of State House and their position declared redundant. The four are no longer employees of The Presidential Press Unit (PSU), the Public Service Commission has said earlier today.

The Other four individuals who have been shown the door include, Erick Ng’eno, James Kinyua, David Nzioka and John Ndolo. Itumbi was the Digital Communications Director at the Presidential Strategic Communications Unit (PSCU)
Dennis Itumbi has since deleted the title of PSCU Director from his Twitter handle which now reads “Pig farmer”

In November last year, Itumbi suffered an embarrassing moment as he was kicked out of the main dais at the Bomas of Kenya.

During the launch of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) taskforce report in November last year, desperate Itumbu was erroneously kicked out of the main dais at the Bomas of Kenya. A month before the embarrassing incident at the Bomas of Kenya dais, Itumbi and his co-accused Samwel Wanjiru had been charged over allegations of publishing a false document depicting the assassination of DP William Ruto.

It was later revealed that the letter was drafted at a cyber shop in Lang’ata, Nairobi. The letter asserted that there had been a meeting at Hotel La Mada along Thika Road with the DP Ruto as the subject of discussion. This incident lead to the summoning of three Cabinet Secretaries by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on 24 June 2019 on allegations of planning to ‘kill the DP William Ruto’
