Tanzania music star Diamond Platnumz is set to lose a whopping KES 140M in earnings due to Coronavirus pandemic that has led to the restriction of social gatherings in the country and around the globe. He added that the amount could even go higher should the pandemic doesn’t come to end any time soon.
The Jeje hit-maker retaliated that he had already planned for 30 shows which now have either been canceled or postponed to later dates.
Speaking to Tanzania based TV, Mvumo TV, he added that, the Coronavirus pandemic has greatly affected the entertainment industry globally.
“Entertainment depends on gatherings. I had planned for shows in Europe, America, and Africa all of which I have canceled due to COVID-19. This means a loss to me as an artist and a loss to Wasafi label as well”
