Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja was on Saturday morning arrested at a Kilimani based bar for flouting curfew Government’s rules.
The vocal senator was arrested at a Kilimani based bar called Ladies Lounge which was still operating at 1:00 AM flouting curfew orders. When the police visited the said bar, Senator Sakaja was seated roundtable with a group of other 10 men drinking beer.
When he was advised to leave the premise by Deputy OCPD Kilimani Adan Hassan, he refused, became violent, and incited other men as well.

“It is then that Hon Sakaja became violent. He incited the others not to get away and was arrested,” the police said.
Sakaja was arrested alongside the other three men who refused to give out their names. Other men managed to escape the police trap to unknown destinations.
Upon his arrest, Sakaja threatened to transfer all the officers who effected his arrest within 24 hours.
