Kenyan musician, David Mathenge aka Nameless has offered to help sexual abuse victims weeks after his wife, Wahu confessed on social media that she was sexually molested when she was young.

The veteran musician has now come out saying that he will help the victims of sexual abuse to therapists who will assist them in their healing journey.

The father of two took to social media to encouraged victims of sexual abuse to allow themselves to heal from the gruesome ordeal and reach seek for professionals to help them deal with the situation

“As a father of Galz it saddens me to hear the many stories of many women and also men who have gone through some form more sexual harassment especially when they were young and didn’t know what to do or where to go at that tender age.

“It definitely has psychological side effects that affect your till the present so it’s important to find the tools to help you heal and move past any such experience you may have had … My wife continues to get so many Dms since she shares her own experience … Our advice is to call the number above if you want to talk to a professional therapist to help you heal find a way forward”. He said

He went ahead and shared contact details for therapist who a victim of sexual abuse can reach out to in order to get help;

A few weeks ago Wahu confessed on social media that she was sexually molested when she was young by her cousin.

“When I was nine years old, I was sexually molested by my cousin. My mom had left me in his custody, we were in shags, so she went to the shamba and she left me this guy and just said just take care of her I am coming back and the guy molested me“

“His way of apologizing was I am sorry.. si then you also touch me the same way”

“This wasn’t easy for me.. but I needed to share. incase you’ve been a victim of sexual molestation I want you to know… you are not alone. don’t suffer in silence. please speak out.  and parents I beg us…. let’s be very mindful of whom we entrust with our children…
