More than 80 Tangatanga legislators allied to William Ruto have dared President Uhuru Kenyatta to dissolve government in order to allow for fresh elections days. This is after Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) led by senator James Orengo said it will table an impeachment motion against William Ruto so that he is removed from office.
Additionally, the desperate Tangatanga lawmakers also urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to make changes to the cabinet and appoint ODM leader Raila Odinga either as the prime minister or the chief minister to end the current political stalemate in the country.
They also dared the opposition Members of parliament to table the alleged impeachment motion claiming that William Ruto will not resign because he was duly elected together with Uhuru Kenya the 2017 general elections.
“it is the prerogative of the president to reshuffle cabinet he can do it anytime , we don’t have the powers he has that power , if he wants to bring Raila as the chief minister let him just go ahead instead of all this shenanigans; Gatundu South MP said in a statement

Jubilee nominated senator Millicent Omanga said, “We hear that they want to bring an impeachment motion against William Ruto, we are telling them bring it on we are waiting.”
