Tanzania artist Harmonize has distanced himself from his former mentor and boss, Diamond Platnumz asserting that they are no longer friends. The duo had closely worked together producing well-performing songs such as Kainama and Kwangwaru.
Later Kondeboy decided to leave Diamond’s Wasafi label and went on to start his own, Konde Boy Records, which is relatively doing extremely well. For the Uno hit-maker to leave Wasafi, he had to terminate the contract and pay a whooping KSh 24,000,000. This was not a walk in the park, he really struggled to raise the amount.
Regarding his relationship with Diamond, the Kondeboy Music label CEO said that,

“I respect him he is doing a very good job, but we are not friends, I don’t wanna; lie to you. But we are cool, we are from same Country Tanzania, we used to be friends but now we are not, I don’t want to lie to you, but not in a bad way, we used to work together but we are not working anymore, that’s what I’m trying to say, for some business reasons”
In a recent interview with Tanzania’s Clouds FM, Harmonize also said that his relationship with WCB Wasafi, had changed since he left.
“Sitaki kusema uongo, Mahusiano yangu na uongozi wangu uliopita sio kama zamani, na kuhusu wao kushindwa kuhudhuria ndoa yangu mimi niliweka nadhiri kuwa siku ya ndoa yangu ningependa wahudhuriaji wawe ni ndugu zangu niloishi nao vizuri kijijini”. He said.
