Tanzania Coronavirus Cases Soar To 480 With16 Deaths

The number of COVID-19 cases in Tanzania has risen to 480 after 196 more people tested positive for the novel Coronavirus.

While making the announcement, Tanzania Prime Minister, Kassim Majaliwa said the country had also recorded six more deaths bring the total of fatalities to sixteen.

According to The Citizen, Tanzania’s news website, Prime Minister Majaliwa retaliated that 174 of the new cases are from the mainland while 22 are from Zanzibar.

The PM also announced that the number of those who have recovered from Coronavirus has risen from 48 to 167 out those who have revered, 36 are from Zanzibar and 83 are from Tanzania’s mainland.

So of 29th April 2020, the world has recorded  3,151,558 cases of Coronavirus with 964,312 recoveries and 218,473 deaths.
